Myles was a cherished member of his family, a unique and wonderful individual. Myles was 31 when he died. He was full of warmth and love.
Myles lived at home with his mum, Jane, stepdad Ashley and younger brother James. He was a devoted son who consistently did his best to support his mother, who also has a learning disability.
To his younger brother, James, he was a steadfast anchor who gave security, friendship, and love. His uncle Paul told the court that James and Myles were a unit, that they relied on each other. “They were attached at the hip and really could not traverse life without each other”.
Myles was autistic, had a learning disability and also had ADHD. Despite the significant challenges Myles faced, including difficulties with communication, self-expression, and a limited understanding of the world around him, he embraced life.
Myles was an avid member of Huddersfield Town Football Club and enjoyed discussing football. He was fond of his family and loved to treat them to meals and buy small gifts. He also enjoyed going on holiday with his family and exploring new places.
**Myles’s inquest is being held in two parts, the first in May 2025, the second in June 2025, with a conclusion due in July 2025**
